Christina Woodcock of Genealogy Tours of Scotland will be our special guest at the April Genealogy Club meeting by Zoom video conference. Join in for her presentation, "Researching Hudson’s Bay Company and Métis Ancestors". Christine’s interest in Scottish genealogy led her to research Scots who came to Canada to work for the HBC and stayed to start the families that are part of the Métis Nation. In this presentation, she will look at available records for the men who worked for the HBC, as well as the records available to research Métis ancestors.
