Join the Genealogy Club! This month we welcome professional genealogist Linda Corupe who will discuss the Miscellaneous Collection at the Archives of Ontario. Most genealogists are unarware of this collection which includes varied and fascinating items such as indentures of apprenticeship, militia commissions and discharges, copies of letters from pioneers, notices to settlers and emigrants, plans for new towns, and lists of settlers. Linda will show you how to access a chronological listing of the collection that is also searchable electronically, and will share interesting items from the collection and explain their background and meaning. This progam will be held in the Library Program Room. Registration is required.
